I created a video of a few firefox tips tweaks for 30 Day Challenge members. These tweaks show you some pretty cool firefox tips and some toolbar tweaks to help you make the most out of the “official browser of the 30 Day Challenge”.
The video is viewable online, downloadable to an mp3 audio, or as an ipod video. Up to you. Whatever floats your 30DC boat. You can access the video here.
It is set to a pretty high screen resolution which is unlike me. I usually make my screen resolution pretty small when I make the videos but this one isn’t that way. My current display settings are 1280 X 720 so if that is what your settings are (or higher) you should be able to watch the video no problem.
I suggest hitting the “F11″ key before you watch the video to make sure you can see it all.
OH>>> any visiting 30DC’ers… the comments are set to “dofollow”… so link to your sites to your hearts content if you want to leave comments below. But only if you say nice G-rated things
Once again… you can see the video at http://infoprofitsavvy.com/videos/FireFoxTips/FireFoxTips.html Enjoy!

Thanks for the Firefox video…I’ve been using Firefox for a while and have toyed with the customize function - but was never patient enough to actually figure out how to get it the way I wanted it. Almost a third of my screen was toolbars. This really helped.

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing with us - your enthusiasm is delightful. I love Firefox and have used for some time…but I confess to not having discovered half as much as you!

I have a weird problem - no Quick Searches folder in my bookmarks at all (I imported from IE7 when I switched over). Any ideas on how I get it back?
I noticed one thing too - for me, F6 doesn’t jump to the address bar as noted in the video, but Ctrl-L does.
Here’s a tip that works in IE and firefox: you can have folders in your Bookmarks Toolbar (Links in IE) folder, with bookmarks inside them, and when these show up on your bookmarks toolbar they act like drop down menus. So you can create your own bookmarks menu system. You have to create the folders using Organize Bookmarks.

@Kevin…
I have heard that importing bookmarks from IE can make you lose your quicksearches. You just have to rebuild them. Make a folder called Quick Searches and set up your searches the way I showed you in the video. It really only takes a few minutes.
Also, some programs can takeover your hotkeys. Camtasia was using my F11 key until I reconfigured it so that wouldn’t happen anymore.

Yay! The blog is back! I’ve been getting a lot of traffic to my blog post about your video, but they were all being sent to a 404 page because your blog was down.
I’m glad to see its back up so now you can get the traffic you rightfully deserve

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your Mozilla Firefox Tips and Tweaks video. It included a lot of very helpful information for those who use Firefox to browse the Web. The video itself was also very well done.

The video is great. I like people who share those things to others - And also good style in writing. That makes my days great to see that not all of the people in the world are -I would say- non-thinking-people.
Thank you and greetings from Austria
