Last summer, I moved to Firefox exclusively. I had it all pimped and loved it.
BUT… yesterday, I changed to Flock and love it. Love it. LOVE IT. Okay, seriously, I “heart” flock.
Luckily, it is built on top of Firefox, so a lot of my plugins still worked. Not all of them, but a lot.
Of course, I will need to figure out the tweaks and tips for this new browser, and I am looking forward to it.
So, here’s the big question… why Flock and not Firefox?
Flock is brilliant, BRILLIANT, for social networking. The more I get into social marketing, the harder it gets to keep up with it all, but Flock makes it so easy by building in a sidebar dedicated to my social sites.
Twitter, facebook, pownce, digg… all built in. Youtube, revver, del.icio.us, magnolia, my gmail, yahoo mail, you name it, I am linked into it. Pretty much everything except “friendfeed” but I am on that on twirl, so that is okay.
So far, this Flock browser has been tremendous in meeting my web 2.0/social networking internet needs.
Check it out if you haven’t seen it before… http://flock.com
It’s free, it’s genius, and it’s only getting better!
